Nestling amongst the vines in the Herault region of the Languedoc, just 11 kilometres from Pezenas, 60 kilometres from Montpellier and on the edge of the ancient wine growing village of Neffies. Our home was once a railway cottage but the railway line was closed thirty years ago so, it is a haven for wildlife and nothing disturbs the peace.We would like to offer you a warm welcome to our lodge which is located in our very large garden on a lane nestling amongst the vineyards. The views are of the small village of Neffies, the hills and the vines. It is very peaceful and private with just the singing of the nightingales for company. Situated in the countryside, the nearest beach is just 20 minutes away. Access to the lodge is via a private drive where you may park your car. Just outside this drive is a marked walk, which can be used as a jogging circuit or just a quiet stroll. Sunworshippers love it in the summer but in the spring or autumn when the weather is usually dry but cooler for walking and the rental prices are cheaper it is ideal for birdwatching. |
